  They have great prices, and the staff are super friendly, but they are tremendously overworked and inneed ofa front-end person tohelp them out scheduling and making appointmentsetc.... This wasn't aone shot occasion I've stopped bythe counter several different times over several different months. The management ofCostco should get these folks the support they need, you can't even get the tire people onthe phone they're sobusy working.

  The Raleigh Costco tire center was chosen toreplace two front end tires where there was serious sidewalk damage. Costco charged for two new tires, installation, balancing, and nitrogen filling only tothen refuse perform the work. The reason they cited was that some ofthe lug nuts had cosmetic caps onthem that were slightly swollen. This iseasily overcome with aslightly larger 6point socket, but nonetheless they refused.

  rovided, orthe tires uninstalled new tires could bereturned for acredit.

  Also inaddition tothe above they put the factory donut spare onthe front ofa front wheel drivecar. This isdangerous ona front wheel drive car because it’s acompromised wheel/tire combo onthe front which drives, steers and handles the bulk ofbraking duties. This tire center lacks training and professionalism.

  I went toCostco tires because Ihad used them 4years ago for another vehicle and they did agreat job and Isaved money compared toother places. This time did not goso well. Igot mycare back after purchasing mytires and they tell all ishould need isan alignment. Itook mycare toget the alignment and but the car was shaking badly. SoI had the place Igot myalignment done and they said that 2tires were over balanced and two tires were under balanced. However, after that, Istill hadvibration getting coming from the rear. They recommended Iget aforce tire balance. Igot the force tire balanced performed and they were able toget itinto better balance than the place before however, they did say myrear right tire had apressure rating that was alittle high. After getting the car back Istill have vibration inthe rear (way better than before but still noticeable) sonow Ihave togo and see about getting that tire replaced. Inall the money and time I've spent sofar intrying toget the tires tonormal working order any cost savings have gone out the window and now Ihave totake mycar back tothe place that didn't doit right the first time tosee ifthey will replace the bad tire. Ilooked atother costco tire centers inthe area because Ididn't want totake back tothe place that couldn't balance mytires inthe first place but all the other tire centers had bad reviews inthe recent year aswell. I'm sorry tosay that costco tire center isn't what itused tobe and any savings Ithought Iwould have been getting has gone out the window. Iwon't beusing them again and recommend you find aplace with better wait times and aproperly trained staff soyou can avoid alot ofwasted time and frustration.… – show

  Even with anappointment, ittook more than2.5hrs tohave mytires replaced although there were noother cars inline. That ontop ofthe fact that ittook 3weeks tofind anappointment. Love Costco ingeneral but for the tire center here inRaleigh, itis bad bad service ingeneral.

  Best Rotation and Balance Service intheare. Ihave been going there for the last three years and they never disappoint. Ifyou feel vibration orshaking inthe steering wheel athigh speed… chances are you can use balance and rotation service. These people are professionals. Ifyou are amember book anappointment tospeed thingsup. Walk ins can take forever. Their advice isusually correct however itis upto you onhow you takeit.

  Do not give your service toCostco tire. Iwent infor aSIMPLE tire rotation. After 20minutes ofwalking around the store, Iget acall from the garage telling memy tires are bad and they cannot rotate. They don't explain tome how and why they arebad. What transpires next istrying toup sell meto buy 3new tires. Iwent tothe counter toget mykeys, the tech told meto goaround tothe garage and they will give memy keys. Goto the garage, ask for mykeys, Ithen get told they are going tobring mycarup. After 10minutes ofwaiting, Iloose mypatience and demand toknow where mykeys/caris. Then Ifinally get mykeys. After afew minutes ofarguing with the employees, Ifinally get anapology. Doyourself abig favor, gosomewhere where. Terrible service from the garage employees. Not the initial member atthe counter, hewas friendly.… – show

  The appointment system isuseless. Imade anappointment for10:00. Iarrived at9:35and was standing atthe Tire Center desk at9:40. They repaired one tire that had anail. Ileft at11:20.

  The team atCostco Tire Service Center inRaleigh were excellent. We've bought 3sets oftires there and the road service coverage isgreat. Wewere towed tothe shop after abad puncture. The tire could not berepaired and because ofitsage, areplacement would not match the other3. Mike, Steve and Justin were great. They had aset oftires overnighted, squeezed usinto the schedule the next day and even gave generous credit for the damaged tire. Kudos tothe dedicated team. Advice: get anappointment toavoid the summer rush.… – show

  The tires are agood deal and the guy atthe counter was very nice. But itwas super crowded, there's nosign directing you toTire entrance, you have noidea where toput yourcar, and ifno one isat the counter, you may just wait upto 15mins before they come back, even ifyou have anappt. One would think they'd check ifthere's people waiting with people scheduled. Then trying tocheck out there were 10people infront ofme, some pickingup, some trying toorder tires, some just asking questions. Very poorlyrun. Then they give memy receipt and Ihave togo look inthe parking lot for mycar. Itcould beanywhere. Ifound itmiraculously and there's nokeys. Have togo all the way back. Total fiasco. There's got tobe away tohave aproper dropoff, know where your car should goand willbe. Just dedicate spaces for Tire Service. That isobvious. Don't tell people topark anywhere and just look for theircar. That's ajoke. BJs has aseparate entrance entirely away from main entrance. You know exactly where togo. Maybe gothere and see how it's supposed toberun.… – show

  Really sweet ofyou don't mind the wait. Some ofthe better prices but make anappointment, they don't work that fast ifyou don't. Idon't get the free rotations they offer because appointments are tough toget onmy schedule.

  Costco tires isthe first choice ifyou have membership. Free nitrogen top upand $10.99flat tire repair. Sometimes Costco offers 1cent Tire installations that can bea better deal. They don’t have small car tires that Iwas lookingfor. Icould find abattery for low price. They dont install car battery.

  Fixed/patched the nail inmy wife's tire for avery reasonable cost while Ishopped. Nowait for drop-off at5:45and pickup was done immediately after Ifinished shopping.

  I paid them for tire rotation and balance. They didn't remove old weights from one ofthe wheel and placed weights all over inother wheel.
  I need todrive 400miles with horrible vibrations ona Lexus LSto fix atanother location.
  Won't recommend wheel balance toanyone atthis location.
